Directions

For Shampoo

• Liquid Shampoo: Boil 5-6 soap nuts in 2 cups of water for 20-30 minutes. Let cool, strain, and use the liquid as a shampoo, massaging into the scalp and hair. Rinse thoroughly.
• Powder Shampoo: Grind dried soap nuts into a fine powder. Mix 2-3 tablespoons with water to form a paste. Apply to wet hair, massage, and rinse thoroughly.

For Face Wash

• Liquid Face Wash: Use the same liquid prepared for shampoo. Apply a small amount to the face, massage in circular motions, and rinse with water.
• Powder Face Scrub: Mix soap nut powder with water to form a paste. Gently scrub the face in circular motions and rinse thoroughly.

For Clothing Wash

• Whole Soap Nuts: Place 4-5 soap nuts in a cloth bag or sock and add to your washing machine. Run as usual. Reuse the nuts for up to 4-5 loads.
• Powder: Add 2-3 tablespoons of soap nut powder directly to the washing machine drum. Wash as usual.
  

For Fragrance: Add a few drops of essential oil, such as lavender or tea tree, to the liquid or powder mixtures for a pleasant scent.

For Softening Clothes: Add white vinegar to the rinse cycle when using soap nuts for laundry.

Storage: Keep unused soap nuts and powder in a dry, airtight container to maintain effectiveness.
