Bleeding (Anti-Bleed)

The Anti Bleed Tincture contains herbs that address bleeding issues. Achillea (Yarrow) has been used throughout history to treat wounds and reduce bleeding. One of the most well-known uses of agrimony is as a coagulant, which can help heal wounds and stop bleeding. While menstruation isn't technically a "wound," agrimony can be taken orally to reduce heavy menstrual bleeding and inflammation, making those tough periods a little easier to bear. Bistort root is a powerful astringent and styptic herb that can be used to treat all types of bleeding, whether external or internal and anywhere astringency is needed. Shepherd's purse, or Capsella, is still one of the first choice medicines used to treat uterine bleeding today. This is due in part to the herb's vitamin K concentration and its blood clotting properties. Cayenne pepper is a natural blood thinner that can also be used to treat DVT. Cayenne pepper contains the chemical capsaicin, which aids blood circulation and prevents blood clots. It also helps to strengthen the capillaries and arteries. Great Periwinkle is most commonly used in herbal medicine as an astringent and tonic. Red raspberry leaf tea has traditionally been used to strengthen the uterus, enhance labor outcomes, and reduce postpartum bleeding. Thuja Occidentalis (Thuj.) is a homeopathic remedy used to treat a range of health disorders and maladies, but it is most recognized for treating warts, oily skin, dry skin, sensitive or itchy eruptions, nail fungus, and hemorrhoids. Thuja is also used to treat menstruation irregularities, fevers, coughs, headaches, swelling extremities, and other ailments. The presence of tannins (gallic acid) and catechins in White Oak Bark gives it its astringent qualities. It is primarily used in two ways: internally to reduce secretions, reduce swelling, and stop bleeding, and externally to reduce secretions, reduce swelling, and stop bleeding.
