Refunds & Returns Information

Health Products (e.g Tinctures, Teas, Dental Care Products, etc.) are non-refundable and non-returnable, opened or unopened. To ensure the best herbs to purchase, please request a protocol.

*Packages returned to Mira Herbals due to unclaimed, incorrect address provided by the customer, and/or inadvertently ordering the wrong item is subject to a reshipping fee.

When will you ship my order?

Again, our products are made to order; therefore, processing could take 4–7 business days before they get shipped. Please make note of our operational days and hours; our business days are only 4 days.

Once it is ready, we will ship your order, and you will receive an email with the tracking number. Please ensure that you provide a valid and working email at checkout.

Note: Order processing is different from shipping. It just means that we have received the order and are taking the necessary steps, such as checking the availability and packing it, prior to shipping.

We kindly request your patience as we are awaiting the herbs to arrive and become ready for shipment as well. Mourab, our master herbalist, ensures a top-notch product by avoiding shortcuts and not rushing production, providing you with full potency.

Do you ship anywhere in the world?

Yes, we do ship internationally. The shipping fee may vary depending on your location. We ship from Toronto, Canada; therefore, we use Canada Post as our main courier service.

We can always arrange for a third party courier service (e.g UPS, DHL, FedEx). If you prefer it, please contact us.

I still haven't received my items!

If it's been shipped, please check the shipping confirmation email - it includes the tracking information. (Check your spam/junk folder incase the email gets filtered there)

Please understand that when shipping from one country to another, these packages have to go through customs before they can be released for final delivery. 

Customs checks all inbound international packages and mail. During this process, a customs officer in the country you’re shipping to will review the package to make sure it meets the country’s laws, regulations and policies. They will also determine what duties and taxes might be due (we are not responsible for any custom fees your country charges). Unfortunately, there’s no cut and dry answer for how long packages stay in customs. This varies greatly from country to country, and largely depends on what is being shipped. Packages can get approved immediately, which is often the case if the goods being sent aren’t taxable. 

Other times, delays can occur if duties and taxes are still owed It’s also common for items to get stuck in customs if an item is restricted and cannot be allowed into the country. If you are having troubles, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Teas or Tinctures, which is better?

Tinctures are best for strong medicinal activity, convenience, and long-term storage. An herbal tincture will have about 90% plant essence in it.

Herbal teas are not as potent as tinctures, but they can be very effective for calming the nervous system, soothing the stomach, and brightening the mood. A herbal tea will have approximately 10% plant essence in it.

It’s best to combine them both.

How often do I take the tincture?

For most tinctures, we recommend taking them 2-3 times a day, 30–60 minutes before a meal.

I have multiple tinctures, how do I take them?

You can take multiple tinctures at once. Simply measure the recommended dose of each tincture and combine them together in one glass. You can add it to juice or water, or take it raw.

Alternatively, it can be added to hot tea, allowing it to sit for 5–10 minutes.

Alcohol in Tinctures

There is nothing to be concerned about, the amount of alcohol is little and most is plant matter. Alcohol in a tincture is a superior way of getting plant phytonutrients to the cells.

Alcohol is a better extractor and is better at getting the medicinal properties out of tough woody parts of the plant

This makes an alcohol tincture more potent and more concentrated than a glycerite or tea, meaning you can use less of a tincture to get the same results.

Alcohol has better preservation which means it can technically last forever provided you don't expose the tincture to sunlight or add anything to it. Also if your diet is high fruits and raw veggies you have nothing to worry about as you are on a detox and cleansing mode.

However, if you are still concerned, you can mix the tincture in a cup of warm water or decaffeinated tea allowing the alcohol to evaporate before consumption.
