How to prepare for a Fast

I see a lot of people rushing into fasting. Although fasting is one of the most powerful ways to detox your body, it is not advisable to start to fast right away, especially if you’re coming off of a Standard American Diet.

 

What I recommend before you start to fast is to go on an all fruit detox for 2 or 3 weeks prior. Eat fruits and only fruits for the weeks before you start to fast. What this will do is clean out the body and get your digestive system ready for when you start your fasts. Your kidneys will be filtering properly, and your lymphatic system will be flowing.

 

Fruits are extremely astringent; they pull out toxins and waste from your cells. They will hydrate and hydrate each of your hundred-trillion cells.This is what you need to do before you add any kind of fasting to your detox.

 

Fast when, and only when your body is ready. You can dry-fast or wet fast depending on your need, just remember your body must be ready for it to be effective.
