Rogaine For Women Warning

Read This Before You Buy Rogaine-The Shocking Truth They Don’t Want You To Know - It Might Save You Time, Money And Nasty Side Effects.

placeholder

Rogaine for women is a product that says it can deliver a full head of thick and healthy hair. It is an over the counter product that contains an ingredient called Minoxidil which was the first treatment approved by the FDA to prevent hair loss and encourage hair regrowth. It works by by widening blood vessels and opening potassium channels. This allows abundant oxygen, blood, and hair growing nutrients to the starving hair follicles. This may then cause weak hair follicles to fall out which are then replaced with thicker and newer hair.

The truth is Rogaine has some side effects that may ultimately outweigh its potential benefits. (But don’t despair because below I share with you a better and safer alternatives)

Clinical Evidence For Minoxidil

There are over 1895 studies on pubmd that show minoxidil to be effective at regrowing hair. Clinical trials performed on minoxidil do show that it can regrow hair in women.

In fact, a study published in SKINmed® journal. 2015 May-Jun; 13(3):185-9 showed minoxidil to be effective at treating hair loss. In a clinical study performed on 300 women for 48 weeks that suffered from thinning hair and diffuse hair loss. More than half of the women who applied Rogaine for women twice daily on their scalp showed hair regrowth with better hair coverage.

Minoxidil Will Work So Long As You Use It

Minoxidil will work so long as you use it. the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology published a 5 year study that showed minoxidil to be effective in stopping thinning hair.  However like i mentioned results stop the moment you stop using it.

How Easy Is It To Use Rogaine With Styling Products?

Make sure that the Rogaine has dried on your scalp before you apply any gel or hair spray. This ensures that the treatment can do its work more effectively

How To Use Rogaine For Women

In many Rogaine for women reviews: women of all ages have said that it is safe to use. They simply applied it to the scalp on thinning ahead of the scalp and the Rogaine does all the work. Once used for a few says it becomes a habit and results are often seen in a few weeks. Rogaine does come with side effects (see them below)

Are There Any Side Effects Of "Rogaine For Women?"

Like most medicines minoxidil comes with a number of mild and sometimes noticeable side effects. The common ones include –irritating skin and eyes, bad itching and slight burning. The burning, itching and irritation usually occurs on the scalp and surrounding areas. There are also reports of redness, hives and rashes. There are also reports of shortness of breath, swelling of the tongue, lips and mouth. There is also a tightening of the chest, fainting, dizziness, gaining of weight, and there was swelling of the feet and hands.

Does Rogaine For Women Work?

Rogaine is not likely to help anyone if they have been bald for a while. this is because it needs hair follicles to reawaken. So without hair follicles it won’t do much. The problem with Rogaine is that it is riddles with side effects. Also to keep the results you have made you need to keep using the product forever. When you stop you will lose the hair you regrew., the reason for this is that thinning hair is often caused by a hormone called DHT and Rogaine does not address the hormone DHT.

Based on reviews on the web, women who use Rogaine do see a reduction in hair loss, they also experience hair regrowth. However results do not happen overnight so you need to use it long term to get results. Most people see results in 3-6 weeks. Often some people see results sooner..

Cons Of Rogaine

• To see results you need to use it correctly and often- often once daily

• Results can take 3 months to see

• Some people lose hair before they gain it back by using Rogaine for women (this can be scary for someone already losing hair)

• If you stop using Rogaine the results will disappear rather quickly

• Burning, redness, inflammation and stinging may occur on the spots you apply Rogaine.

• Dandruff may develop.

• Excessive hair growth may occur in other areas of the body.

• As you can see the side effects may be too severe for most.

Are There Alternatives To Rogaine?

There are many safer alternatives to Rogaine. In fact so many herbs have been shown in the lab to beat minoxidil (the ingredient) in the lab, so it makes you wonder why these herbs are not recommended by your doctor. The truth is most doctors do not know much about alternative hair growth treatments. They also do not know about how to use herbs.

Doctors have not been trained to use alternative treatments and so you won’t hear about the herbs below from them. Second the pharmaceutical industry does not want you to use natural herbs to grow your hair. Why? Because they can’t patent a herb and so they can’t charge you larger amounts for herbs. This means they won’t allow the information about these herbs to be widely publicized. But thanks to the internet everyone is free to do their own research.

And so we found so many herbs that actually beat Minoxidil (the main ingredient in Rogaine) in the lab and they did so without side effects. (See them below).

For instance just one of the herbs we found that beat minoxidil is a herb called Eclipta Alba. In a study published by the Archives of Dermatological Research August 2008. This study showed that the time taken for hair to grow was shortened by half when compared to minoxidil (commercial and over the counter hair growth treatment) and there was also a much greater number of hair follicles in the Eclipta Alba extract group.

This showed that Eclipta Alba was able to induce hair growth even faster than Minoxidil without any the side effects.

Not convinced?

Another herb that beat minoxidil is rosemary

Rosemary Oil Tested Against Minoxidil

Rosemary was tested against minoxidil in a study of 100 men who had androgenetic alopecia – male pattern baldness. Half of the men were treated with 2% topical minoxidil and the remaining 50 men were treated with rosemary oil. The men were tested with the most objective measure of treatment for baldness- hair count analysis.

After six months, the scientist found that both treatments significantly increased the overall hair count among the subjects. In other words rosemary and minoxidil both had similar results but get this rosemary has no side effects.

So why would anyone use minoxidil when you can get the same results with a natural and safer remedy

So How Can One Save Their Hair In The Long Run?

In the long run you will get better and safer results by using herbs that suppress the hormone that causes hair loss and thinning hair.

The science behind Herbal Hair Oils.

To help save hair the best way is to use herbs that are known to suppress or get rid of DHT (Dihydrotestosterone) that sit on the scalp. To do this you will want to use a herbal hair oil that has herbs that have been shown in the lab to stimulate growth and stop DHT (Dihydrotestosterone,).

The Best Herbs Known To Help Hair Grow Are :

Coconut oil, Henna extract , Phyllanthus Emblica ,Eclipta Prostrata ,Hibiscus , Aloe Barbadensis , Tridax procumbens , Cuscuta reflexa , Asiasari Radix , Sophora flavescens ,Ocimum gratissimum ,Ginkgo Biloba ,Rosmarinus officinalis ,Thuja occidentalis leaf , citrullus colocynthis ,Trigeonella and grape seed oil (Vitis vinifera).

Hibiscus Rosa-Sinensis

A flower that can make hair roots healthy and thicker looking

Aloe Barbadensis

Helps soothe an itchy scalp and helps rejuvenate hair follicles

Emblica Officinalis

A fruit that has 30% more vitamin C than an orange! Vitamin C is critical for strong and healthy hair; it also fights premature gray hair and soothes an itchy scalp.

Here Is The Science Behind Herbal Hair Oils

We found many studies too, For instance –a study done at Kinki University, in Osaka Japan showed the powerful effects of rosemary on hair regrowth. The application of rosemary on the scalp improved hair regrowth from areas that were thinning or losing hair. Rosemary was used in this study to combat alopecia areta which is caused by the hormone DHT.(Dihydrotestosterone,) – It was able to inhibit 5 alpha reductase activity of 82.4% and 94.6% at 200 and 500 µg/mL, respectively. Rosemary showed the ability to suppress DHT and allow hair to grow back again.

This means it has the power to not only stop see through scalp- it can also stop hair loss and then regrow hair back fast

Study after study show that herbal hair oils can grow hair if the right herbs are used in the right combination like a study published in the December issue of the prestigious Journal Of Ancient Science of Life. 2012 Dec; 32. This study researched the ability of herbal hair oils to grow hair. This study “revealed that 8 of the 15 patients with patchy progressive hair loss stabilized and showed no additional hair loss. After 3-5 months of treatment hair growth in these patients were partial or full…”

A good herbal hair oil will have the maximum amount of such herbs combined in the right concentrations and quantity. Some herbs don’t mix well together and the right concentrations have to be used to achieve maximum growth and effectiveness- That is why it is a good idea to use a product like GRO hair oil.
